Equine Touch and VHT founder Jock Ruddock passed away on Sunday 6 November 2011 at his home in New Zealand after a courageous battle against cancer.
Our thoughts are with his wife Ivana, his family and with all his friends worldwide.
We salute Jock's great courage and tremendous effort to overcome the "bastard" - he may have lost the physical battle but his spirit refused to be beaten. Tributes from around the world can be seen on a special memorial website set up by his wife Ivana who sent this message to the Helping Hand Fund:
"You know how much Jock was humbled when he found out that his extended UK ET family put together this fund to help him to beat the disease. It meant a lot to him, it was not the sum or the money itself, it was the collective spirit and effort of so many people who showed him their respect or thanks, for what he did for them. He never believed that he was some special (nice) person (I know his act was very different - he acted as very unique person) but believe me, deep down he was moved so much when he realized that fact. Every letter of thank you what he received brought the tears into his eyes. Please let everybody know that he really, really appreciated their help". (November 2011)
Over £3600 was made available to help Jock during his illness.
Through the Equine Touch Modalities, Jock's legacy will live on in our hearts and hands forever.
Aloha - a hui hou kakou!
